The Crestwood washer and dryer are ready for use.
The coin-operated washer and dryer are back. These commercial-grade units are hooked-up and ready for use in the gym. So you can workout while doing your laundry. Now that’s efficiency!
The top-load washer and large capacity dryer allows laundering big items like comforters. These new machines take $1.25 in quarters per load and dry. So one wash and one dry requires $2.50 in quarters. The customer service at Publix next door can provide a $10 roll of quarters. Don’t forget to bring laundry cleaning supplies such as your detergent of choice and dryer sheets.
Coinmach, also known as CSC provides the laundry services at Crestwood and has for many years. If there are problems with the machines call the CSC number on the front of each unit. Do not call the HOA about washer/dryer issues. They are property of Coinmach and only they have access to service the machines.
It is not recommended to leave your laundry unattended. The HOA is not responsible for items that go missing. Do not contact the HOA if your clothing is taken.
To put things in context, back in March, CSC delivered the wrong machines. The units did not fit in the laundry area despite that the HOA provided the proper measurements. Before the correct units were delivered the COVID-19 pandemic hit and CSC employees were furloughed including the Crestwood account reps. The remaining CSC workers were dedicated to essentials services like hospitals. After many months of calls and follow-ups by the HOA, CSC finally delivered commercial level equipment that was an upgrade without modifying the contract.
Happy laundering everyone!
